Podmod is a full featured podcast player and service that makes it easy to recommend Podcast episodes, or parts of an episode, to friends.

Podmod has a unique bookmarking feature that allows you to organize and annotate your favorite podcasts and share these bookmarks with friends or other Podmod users.*

When you hear an interesting segment in a long podcast, Podmod gives you the ability to share only that portion. Simply create a bookmark, add a personal message and send it to a friend.

When your friend receives the message in Podmod, they can tap the bookmark to jump to that exact point in the episode.

If your friend doesn’t have the podcast in their media library, Podmod will attempt to find it and start playing with the provided bookmarks.

Podmod also has the ability to skip advertisements during playback.

Users upload bookmarks to cut out advertisements from a podcast episode. Future listeners will automatically download these bookmarks and skip the ads during playback. Users can vote on bookmark sets to ensure the most accurate edits are available.
